I'm Not an Elitist, I'm Just an Ordinary Snob...

It would appear that the members of Congress and the Senate are working on a plan to exempt themselves from the restrictions, costs and ultimately the implications of Obamacare.

To wit I quote the great Dick Tionary:

Let us examine the real issue of pressure cookers and the steps we must immediately take to regulate, control, and yes - confiscate them.

In the WRONG HANDS these things can be EXTREMELY DANGEROUS and we as a society simply cannot afford to have pressure cookers out there being sold in a completely uncontrolled manner.

I am just talking about some common sense laws. In addition, with all the documented instances of pressure cookers being used to construct explosive devices, and in light of the numbers of killed and injured, two things are clear: pressure cookers are lethal and we are in the midst of a pressure cooker violence epidemic.

There is no need for pressure cooker nuts to run around with their pressure cookers without any regulation and oversight. We must act now - even if it saves just one life.

First, most people do not need high capacity pressure cookers. Limiting pressure cookers to a quart capacity will make society safer. High capacity pressure cookers should only be available to professional chefs and those highly trained in their use. And the government.

Mandatory mental health evaluations and federal background checks will help to ensure that a pressure cooker doesn't fall in the wrong hands. Should people convicted of felonies and domestic violence misdemeanors be banned from owning pressure cookers? ABSOLUTELY!

Even if it saves just one life, it's worth it. How about that soccer mom? Well, it depends. What if she loves soccer but hates America? Do you REALLY want THAT soccer mom to have unfettered access to something so potentially deadly? The people cannot be trusted with these devices and we must control their access immediately.

Next - we need to have the Department of Homeland Security buy up 1.6 Billion chickens so that these pressure cooker nuts have no access to the ammunition that is required to weaponize these pressure cookers.

I'm only talking about common sense here people. Let the government cook your food for you - let the professionals handle it.

Together, we can make the changes necessary to foster a pressure-cooker free America.

Speaking of Obama’s healthcare achievements….

We’re going to be gifted with a healthcare plan we are forced to purchase, and fined if we don’t which purportedly covers at least 10 million more people without adding a single new doctor but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents ,written by a committee who’s chairman says he doesn’t understand it, passed by a congress that didn’t read it, but who exempted themselves from it, signed by a President who smokes, with funding administered  by a treasury chief who didn’t pay his taxes for which we will be taxed for 4 years before any benefits take effect by a government that has already bankrupted social security and Medicare all to be overseen by a Surgeon General who is obese and financed by a country that is broke.

Or you could vote for Romney.

White House Recipe for Obama Beer and a Failed Presidency

So the White House, to much fanfare releases the "recipe" for their own micro brew that they apparently serve there. The recipe calls for Malt Extract and "Fuggles" Hop Pellets. I have attached same should you want to brew up a pot for your own consumption. Except if you sell it, then you will be arrested.

The White House has another recipe that unfortunately, they have been all too willing to share!


Recipe for a Failed Presidency

• Take 40 months of above 8% unemployment
• Add slowly the reduction of American's personal wealth by 40%
• Whisk in 49.1% of the population taking gov't benefits of some kind
• Add in 50% of the population paying no taxes
• Dust with a multi-million $ GSA conference that highlights government waste
• Blend with divisive politics ginned up to buy votes
• Mix with $26 billion "invested" in GM union pensions at the peril of investors on the backs of taxpayers
• Finally, add two Fiskars and a Solyndra and let ferment for 4 years

And you will make yourself the best batch of Failed Presidency ever. Obama style.

Obama's 2012 Loss - the Math behind the defeat...

If you begin to look at the chance of Obama losing in 2012, the electoral math is daunting.


Let's begin with the 2008 results adjusted for the post-Census re-districting. I think even the most rabid of left leaners would agree that this is a baseline and that the chances that Obama will win MORE electoral votes than he did three years ago is zero.  No results, bad job, bad economy with anemic recovery that nobody feels is a recovery. Millions still unemployed, union friends compensated for Solyndra, GM and over 2100 health care "exemptions".


Then we'll begin with what I think are fairly obvious adjustments -- we'll give the Republicans back the electoral votes they lost in Nebraska along with Indiana, North Carolina, and Virginia -- traditionally Republican states that Obama carried last time through a special magic the like of which we are not likely to see again. Not the usual Chicago dead people voting magic, magic none the less.


Let's work from that base of 219 electoral votes and assume that the following states are potential battlegrounds in 2012: Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, and Florida. We'll throw in Maine and New Jersey as stretch states as well just to be conservative. Sorry for the pun.


This gives the Republican nominee an almost unlimited number of paths to the White House.


Perhaps the most obvious one, in that it resembles the 2000 and 2004 battlegrounds most heavily, is that a Republican could win by just by taking just Florida, Ohio, and Nevada from that list of states.


Or,  the Repubicans could just tie it -- and win in a Republican-controlled House -- simply by taking Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin from the rust belt and only Nevada in the West.


Alternatively, they could win without taking a single rust-belt state by winning in Nevada, New Mexico, Colorado, Florida, and New Hampshire. This outcome seems like a real possibility given Florida's now rabid distate for President Zero, and Nevada's growing dislike of Senator Reid.


Another odd-looking way of doing it would be to take Pennsylvania, Ohio, Nevada, and Oregon, although Ohio looks a little floppy given their propensity of voting for candidates with the most handouts.


In any event, working from this base, Obama has to take 2/3 of the electoral votes in battleground states this time around to get the job done.


And there is not enough Acorn left to plant a tree that big.

Green Eggs and Sham

I would not, could not in Iran, I could not would not in Pakistan, I don't believe them in a car, I don't believe them near - and far.

 I could not get back my cash, Obama spent it on Solyndra trash.

Mr. Biden is a dope, I do not like this kind of HOPE, I do not like it: nope, nope, nope!

2011 will sure be tough,  and  January 2013 can't come soon enough!
