Coming this Fall to a Protest Near You! American Spring!

I heard something the other day that I wished I could ask to one of the disheveled misguided protesters that are clogging up the streets with their rants about how they are the "99%". I bet these uber-geniuses would be shocked to learn that the 80% of us who actually work for a living actually detest both their antics, and their message(s) and that the only "1%" in the room - is them. Nobody is buyin' what you are sellin'. Heck, we can't even figure out what it is that you want. We're pretty sure you can't either. Anyhoo - not to get off on a rant here but......

The question these pinheads need asked of them is "Do you think it is morally right to PUNISH someone who has done nothing WRONG?" The answer they (and most all of us would give) is "of course it isn't morally right to punish someone who has done nothing wrong - that would be evil!!!!!"

Then ask the question a different way and get their reaction -

"Is it then morally right to REWARD someone who has done nothing RIGHT?"

Gut check - what is your reaction then? If you buy the first argument, by definition (unless you are insane) you have to accept the other argument. Puts a different perspective on it doesn't it? If you want to treat people fairly you have to BOTH reward and PUNISH. This goes for relationships, corporations, and yes, countries too.

All I hear from .01%'ers is "Where is my reward?" "Where is my fair share?"

Well buddy, looks like you are getting your fair share. And you can't handle it.

President Zero and the Magic Unicorn

Jobs created in August? Zero. Only time in post World War II America that has happened. Black teenage unemployment is at 50%, real salaries and wages decreasing. Consumer confidence decreasing. Business confidence less than zero. Deficit reduction?  Zero. Less than 2 in 10 Americans think America is on the right track. 19% in fact. 62% of Americans describe the chance of an improving economy as "bleak".

Number of magic unicorns in my backyard? Same as the Obama job growth figures. Zero

Maxine Walters says tea party supporters should "go to hell". Biden calls them "barbarians at the gate" and "terrorists". Jeanine Garafolo called any tea party supporter "obviously racist". Hoffa calls them "sons of bitches" that should be "taken out".  Seems like the sermons on civility by Obama were just simple rhetoric. Like a lot of the leftist policies, just more teleprompter driven, hot air.

Democrats are banned from using the word "stimulus" and have been instructed by Pelosi to refer to further stimulus packages as "infrastructure improvements". The phrase "stimulus package" has now been relegated into the same national joke-pile as "shovel ready projects".

What is the other "zero" Obama and the left should be thinking about? Their chances for a second term.

At least they have the logo ready.

Ashes to ashes, a good cigar makes the day better.....

Anybody out there like cigars? I tell ya, a cigar has got to be the most pleasurable exercise any adult can pursue that doesn't result in a rash. Just the preparation and selection and carve out the time to quietly enjoy a great cigar is reward in and of itself. Total pleasure and serenity, I can see why politicians and movie stars light up in droves.

I have a couple of humidors that have about 50 sticks in em. Constantly checking the humidity,but its all good. My current favorite is the Camacho Triple Maduro. Can't afford 'em everyday, but with the economy tanking and democrats running for the hills, you have to stop and enjoy things before they take away even the simple pleasures!
