Chuck Nelson, active in the NHRA community since 1959, passed away today. I had only met him a couple of times, and had recently communicated with his wife who indicated that he was doing well. He was (and is!) a legend in the sport and will be greatly missed.
It's not often you find someone who is willing to dedicate over 50 years of their life so that others can have a little fun.
